Summer Nights...

It has been way too hot lately. I'm not a very nice driver when it's hot outside. I try to be nice, but I almost never succeed.
Another busy weekend is coming to a close and I thought I'd update you all on my weekend. Maybe someday I'll talk about my life during the week. It's pretty boring though... there's not much to write about.
Anyway, on Friday afternoon my friend Kim asked me if I wanted to go to the Rangers game with her and her husband in Dallas. So of course I jumped at the chance. I love that stuff. We had a lot of fun! The Rangers won (of course). I even got to see a player thrown out for talking back to the umpire and one of the players break a bat over his knee after he struck out.
Oh the drama! I loved it.
I took this picture from my camera phone. Sadly my point and shoot hadn't been charged and this is the best I could do.
On Saturday night my friend Leigh ann and I went to the field behind our church and did light paintings. I'd never done one before and I was eager to try it out. We had a blast and probably looked crazy out there jumping around in the field with flashlights.

We had to pay tribute to Harvest Church who provided the dark field.

Ok... I'm not retarded. It's just really hard to make "s" backwards.

We couldn't fit Leigh ann's whole name so this will have to do...

Oh... we are so mature. ha!

We ended up only being able to stay for about 30 minutes because we were getting attacked by bugs. I have the bites to prove it. Ahhh... Texas Summers. Bugs and constant humidity.
My church majorly blessed me this morning with a bouquet of flowers. We officially handed over Superchurch to Caleb and Megan. I've been leading it for almost two years and have loved every minute, but I know that God is calling me to serve in other areas of the church. I know that Caleb and Megan are going to do a fantastic job and I am so excited to see what comes out of this change. Anyways, thanks for the flowers everyone. I love you all!!
